Black Country, New Road return with ‘Forever Howlong’, their first studio album since 2022’s seminal ‘Ants From Up There’ earned the band their second Top 5 UK album in just 12 months, following their Mercury Prize-shortlisted debut ‘For the first time’.
The highly anticipated new album follows 2023’s ‘Live at Bush Hall’, with the legendary James Ford (Fontaines D.C., The Last Dinner Party, Beth Gibbons) taking the helm as producer, and vocal duties now shared between Tyler Hyde, Georgia Ellery and May Kershaw.
The band will embark on their biggest global headline tour to date, the first time the band have toured an album fully post release, with stops at Brixton Academy, Brighton Dome, Manchester’s Albert Hall, Barrowlands Glasgow and many more.
Black Country, New Road will headline End Of The Road festival in 2025, with many more prominent festival appearances in 2026.
During 2024, the band road tested the new material on stages across the world, including festivals like Glastonbury, Coachella, Primavera, Green Man and Pitchfork London.
Known for their highly engaged and devoted fanbase, the band’s early teasers ignited discussion, excitement and interaction across their huge fan communities on Discord (4000), Reddit (22K) and social platforms (603.9K). Anticipation for their new music is building rapidly.
Fans of the band include Jenna Ortega (‘Wednesday’), Finn Wolfhard (‘Stranger Things’), Clairo, Caroline Polachek, Weyes Blood, marg.mp3, Geordie Greep and Japanese alternative / folk star Ichiko Aoba.
