Tottenham rap icon Wretch 32 is back with his fifth studio album ‘Upon Reflection’ & leads him into the next chapter of his career which has already exceeded a decade. The new album sees him continuing to bring class and maturity to the forefront, thriving in his singular uncompromising brand of songwriting that unites a diverse range of music fans with core rap listeners, thanks to intelligent wordplay and thought-provoking lyricism. Upon Reflection includes collaborations with Burna Boy, Giggs, Ghetts, Talay Riley, Avelino & Knucks.

“I think now is where I’ve got to show bravery,” he says of the album. “Because the game is in a transition and it seems like people are possibly preferring quantity over quality. When you’re someone who represents quality and an element of class, I don’t actually think that will go out of fashion.”

‘Mummy’s Boy’ was Wretch’s first offering for this album campaign, which had him redefining a term that’s followed him throughout his life, the second single ‘Spin Around’ is an infectious melody-driven song produced by 169 (Dave, Headie One, Mabel). The whimsical, feel good track demonstrated an often hidden aspect of Wretch’s personality as he lets loose and enjoyed himself. Up next, on 10th October will be the release of the first collaboration taken from the forthcoming project ‘10/10’ featuring Giggs – which is a hard-hitting, fast-paced & gritty track.
